The Speak Lows are a New York City based trio featuring singer/songwriter, guitarist, trumpeter Tony Hoylen, pianist/singer/songwriter Mark Berman, and bassist/composer/producer Dave Richards.

 

On their own, these talented and versatile performers have played with some of the biggest names in music (Aretha Franklin, Gladys Night, The Indigo Girls, Rosanne Cash, Jewel) and worked on the hottest Broadway shows (Hamilton, Rent,The Boy From Oz, Smokey Joe’s Café) as well as Television with Mark as a special cast member of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

 

Together, the Speak Lows’ blend of musical prowess and soulful vocals creates a sound and style uniquely their own. Their sets include a fresh take on a range of covers (from Johnny Cash to Drake), original songs, stories, and even jazz standards.
